The Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department of the Government of Sindh is inviting applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Sindh for 35 vacant positions of Steno Typist in the Agriculture Extension Wing. This is a recruitment based on the provincial quota for Sindh domicile holders.

Educational & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least second division or equivalent CGPA from an HEC-recognized university.
• Six-month certificate in shorthand and English typing from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
• Typing speed of 120 words per minute in shorthand and 35 words per minute in English typing on a computer.
• Certificate in MS Office from an SBTE-recognized institute.
• Skill Level: Beginner to Experienced Professional.

Mandatory Testing Requirement

• Candidates must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation and Intermediate Category conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with at least 40% marks and possess the valid STS certificate.

Age Relaxation

• Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per Government of Sindh notification dated 06.03.2025.
• Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission.

General Conditions

• Only candidates with domicile of Sindh Province are eligible to apply.
• Appointment will be made as per the Sindh Government policy notified on 26.04.2023 and under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973.
• Quotas (regional, minority, women, disabled, etc.) as per Government of Sindh rules will be observed.
• Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview; no TA/DA will be provided.
• The department reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process.
