FAQs
Job vacancies for DHQ Teaching Hospitals in Pakistan are typically announced through official newspaper advertisements, particularly in major daily publications. Additionally, prospective applicants should regularly check the official websites of the respective provincial health departments (e.g., Health Department Punjab, Health Department Sindh) and the National Job Portal (NJP) for updates on new positions.
Vacancies usually include positions for medical officers, consultants/specialists, paramedical staff (such as nurses, technicians, and dispensers), administrative roles, and allied health professionals. The specific requirements and available posts depend on the needs of the individual hospital and the provincial government’s hiring cycle.
The application process generally involves submitting a physical application form or applying online through a designated government portal. Applicants must meet specific criteria for education and experience as defined in the job advertisement. Selections are typically based on interviews conducted by selection boards or through examinations administered by public service commissions (like PPSC for Punjab).
