Job Description

Mardan Forest Division is seeking applications from eligible male candidates for the position of Forest Guard (BPS-08) under the Forest Division Mardan. Candidates from Mardan and Swabi districts are encouraged to apply. The recruitment will be conducted through ETEA (Educational Testing and Evaluation Authority). Selected candidates will be offered permanent government employment with benefits as per government rules. Applications must be submitted online through the ETEA portal.

Forest Guard (BPS-08)

Qualification: Intermediate / A-Level, DAE
Experience: No prior experience required

Task:

Guarding and patrolling assigned forest areas.
Protection of forest land, trees, and wildlife from illegal activities.
Assisting in forest conservation and management activities.
Reporting illegal encroachments, timber theft, or wildlife poaching to seniors.
Maintaining records related to forest godowns and resources.

Note:

Quota breakdown: 4 seats on merit (Swabi District), 1 seat minority (Mardan/Swabi), 30% quota for Kode-Bibi (Godown) residents, 2 seats for owners of jungle/forest land.
Age relaxation: up to 32–34 years as per government rules.
Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches.
Minimum weight: 3 kg below standard.
Must be physically and medically fit.
Chest measurement: 32 inches (minimum 15 inches expansion).
