The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) is a government-run body in Pakistan responsible for the urban planning and development of Gwadar city. Established under the Gwadar Development Authority Ordinance, 2002, GDA oversees the implementation of the Gwadar Master Plan and regulates infrastructure projects to facilitate growth as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Its functions include land acquisition, development control, and providing civic amenities to make Gwadar a modern port city.
