Job Description
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) is the oldest and largest shipbuilding yard in Pakistan. It provides construction and repair services for both naval and commercial vessels. KS&EW also undertakes general engineering projects.

- Candidates possess strong negotiation, leadership and technical communication abilities will be preferred.
- AM (Mechanical)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)
- Experience: 03 Years (BE) / 10-15 Years (B.Tech / DAE)
- Understanding of ship repair processes, dry docking operations, Maint/Ops mechanical machinery marine systems & fabrication activities with knowledge of QHSE regulations will be preferred.
- AM (Hull)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)
- Experience: 03 Years (BE) / 10-15 Years (B.Tech / DAE)
- Understanding of ship repair processes, dry docking operations, Maint/Ops mechanical machinery marine systems & fabrication activities with knowledge of QHSE regulations will be preferred.
- Supervisor (Engineering Design)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)
- Experience: 05 – 10 Years
- Candidates with excellent communication skills with hands-on experience in AutoCAD will be preferred.
- Supervisor (Hull)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)
- Experience: 05 Years
- Candidates having proven experience in managing hot work / welding / fabrication projects will be preferred.
- Senior Technical Assistant (QC-NDT)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)
- Experience: 03 Years
- Candidates having NDT (RT, UT & DPT) certification will be preferred.
- Driver
- Qualification: Matriculation / O-Level
- Experience: 02 – 03 Years
- Middle preferably Matric.
- Valid driving license.
