Job Description
Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) is seeking applications for project posts on a contract basis. The project is titled ‘Strengthening of PCSIR-Karachi Accredited Labs for Fruits & Vegetables Testing to Enhance Export’. Applications are invited for the positions of Laboratory Technologist/Analyst and Laboratory Assistant.
The Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) is a premier scientific and industrial research organization operating under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan. Established in 1953, its mission is to conduct research and development across various S&T disciplines to support industrial development and promote socio-economic growth in the country. PCSIR operates a network of research laboratories and centers across Pakistan focusing on areas such as pharmaceuticals, food technology, materials science, and environmental research.

- The Online printed copy of the Application Form must be accompanied by legible attested copies of degrees/certificates along with cover letter mentioning the job title applied for, CNIC, 2 passport size photographs, Experience Certificates etc. must reach to the Office of Project Director, CES, PCSIR Labs Complex, Off University Road, Karachi on or before the deadline date through registered courier service / Email: [email protected].
- Incomplete documents or documents received after the deadline will not be entertained.
- PCSIR is an equal opportunity employer and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- The applicants having higher qualification, relevant experience and excellent academic career will be preferred.
- Candidates having any 3rd division / CGPA <2.5 will not be considered.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be called for test/interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the purpose of test/interview.
- No Additional benefit in addition to pay package shall be admissible for Project’s employees.
- The competent authority reserves the right to cancel/ postpone recruitment process at any stage.
- It is mandatory for the selected candidates that at the time of joining they will submit an affidavit on stamp paper that he/she would not claim for regularization at any stage as these posts are purely contract based.
- Last date of submission of Application is 10 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the news papers.
- All the posts will be governed according to the project policy.
- Salaries of the selected candidates shall be refereed after the verification of all documents.
