Applications are invited by the Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore from candidates to fill up vacancies on contract basis in the following categories.
- SUB ENGINEER (BS-11) – 347 Vacancies
- ASSISTANT STATION MASTER GR-I (BS-14) – 225 Vacancies
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES.
(i) Application form shall be downloaded by visiting (Pakistan Railways) Website i.e
https://www.pakrail.gov.pk/Career.aspx and are required to submit as per following
instructions:-
a) Duly filled/ typed form be emailed to CPO at email address [email protected].
b) Signed forms alongwith attested copies of Educational Documents, CNIC, Domicile, and
two fresh passport size photographs.
c) Three postal envelopes duly stamped and return address of applicant mention thereon.
(ii) The above documents should be directly sent through Registered Dak or courier to Chief
Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.
(iii) Eligibility of the candidates shall be determined on the basis of applicant qualification,
performance in written test and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview).
(iv) The candidates who are serving in Railways or any other department shall submit their
application through proper channel along with NOC.
(v) Application forms may also be obtained from Pakistan Railway Divisional Offices at
Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan Sukkur, Karachi, Quetta and Moghalpura.
(vi) Last date of receipt of applications is 28.08.2024 up to 05:00 PM, in CPO office and
through email.
(vii) Incomplete applications or applications carrying incorrect information shall be rejected.
Only those candidates who fulfill the laid down criteria are eligible to apply.
(viii) No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/interview.
(ix) The candidate selected will be required to:-
a. Pass prescribed Medical Examination and clearance by Security Agencies.
b. Undergo specified training.
c. Posted anywhere in Pakistan Railways system in any cadre of the concerned category.
(x) If any document provided by candidate is found bogus during the recruitment process and
afterwards, the appointment will be treated as cancelled and legal action may be taken.
Note:- Pakistan Railway reserves the right to reject any application (s) or suspend/cancel the
process without conveying any reason and may alter the number and distribution of
vacancies.
