Job Description & How to Apply

The Office of the District Education Officer (Special Education) Gujranwala is hiring School Teaching Interns (STIs) for Government Special Education Institutions in District Sialkot. This is a temporary, non-pensionable, and school-specific engagement for the Financial Year 2025-26 & 2026-27.

Interested candidates shall submit applications along with attested copies of updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees/Experience Certificates (if any) and two Passport size pictures.
Applications must reach in the office of the Focal Person, Special Education, District Sialkot, in the building of Govt. Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Baba Bari Naika Pura, Sialkot (Phone No.052-3540708) by hand or by post till 04-05-2026 at 04:00 PM.
Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
Interview of eligible candidates will be held on 14-05-2026 at 10:00 AM in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Sialkot. No Separate intimation regarding appearance of applicants in interview via letter, SMS and email will be issued.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
The departments must bring original documents at the time of interview.
The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
The engagement of STIs will be made in accordance with the above mentioned policy and the hired STIs will also be governed in accordance with the said policy.

Terms & Conditions

Engagement shall be purely temporary, non-pensionable, school-specific and non-transferable.
Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2025-26 & 2026-27 or till the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
Monthly Honorarium (BS-17: 45000/-, BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-)
No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
No age relaxation will be granted under the STI Policy.
Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by concerned authorities.
The engagement shall be liable to termination on one month notice or payment of one month's salary in lieu thereof by either side without assigning any reason.
