WAPDA Job Opportunity as Advisor (CHMP) DBDP – February 2026

WAPDA is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Advisor (CHMP) for the Diamer Basha Dam Project (DBDP) in Chilas.

Job Details:

Tenure:

The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for a period of 02 years, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance of the individual / requirement of the Organization.

Pay Package:

Competitive market-based lumpsum pay package commensurate with qualification / experience of the individual.

Mandate / Charter of Duties:

• To assist the Authority in implementation of cultural heritage management plan.
• To provide technical oversight for restoration and renovation works at Chilas Fort including its adaptive reuse for establishment of the museum.
• To coordinate with and sensitize all contractors involved in Dam activities within the direct and indirect impact area of rock carvings.
• To coordinate with Federal and Provincial Govt. departments regarding implementation of CHMP.
• To monitor and evaluate activities related to CHMP.
• Any other task assigned by the Authority.

• The services on lumpsum pay package shall not be regularized at any stage.
