National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is the apex body in Pakistan responsible for managing disasters and implementing disaster risk reduction policies. Established under the National Disaster Management Act of 2010, it operates under the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. NDMA formulates national policies, plans, and guidelines to ensure preparedness for and effective response to natural and human-induced disasters across the country.
