PIA Holding Company Limited (PIAHCL) is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) established by the Government of Pakistan in 2024. Its formation is part of the strategic restructuring and privatization plan for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). PIAHCL’s primary function is to acquire and manage non-core assets, liabilities, and historical debt of PIA, thereby separating them from the core airline business (PIACL) to facilitate its privatization.
