- Candidates with port-related higher qualifications and experience will be given preference.
- Must have held a responsible position in a large port authority.
- MS or equivalent degree in Civil/Mechanical/Engineering is required.
- Experience in dredging, reclamation, marine crafts, waterfront structures, port amenities, and large-scale project management is essential.
- Regional/provincial basis: Merit.
- Oversee and manage all planning and development activities at Karachi Port Trust.
- Lead port planning, dredging, reclamation, and waterfront infrastructure development projects.
- Supervise marine craft, waterfront structures, port amenities, and equipment planning.
- Coordinate with front-line port departments and water front infrastructure teams.
- Manage large-scale development projects worth significant financial investment.
- Ensure compliance with port authority regulations and government directives.
- Liaise with national and international maritime organizations and stakeholders.
Terms & Conditions
- Age limit of 50 years includes the standard 5-year general relaxation.
- Allowances such as those under PT rules will be admissible.
- Other government benefits will be applicable as per government directives.
- This appointment is on a contract basis for an initial period of 2 years (extendable).
