Note:
- No third division (CGPA less than 2.00/4.00 in case of semester system of examinations or aggregate percentage less than 50% in case of annual system of examinations) in entire academic career.
- Candidates having foreign qualification / experience and excellent academic/professional credentials/suitability for the post will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operations of the Institute’s examinations department in a progressive, efficient and effective manner.
- Be well versed with the functions and affairs of the examinations department in a Higher Educational Institution (HEI)/Degree Awarding Institute (DAI).
- Be knowledgeable regarding the examinations department’s role in convocations, meetings of statutory/functional bodies and HEC regarding conducting of examinations, award of grades, transcripts, degrees, handling of disciplinary cases and relevant matters etc.
- Be conversant with application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in examination systems.
- Have excellent communication, leadership, presentation and team management skills.
Terms & Conditions
- All applications should be from well-reputed universities/institutions recognized by the HEC.
- The application with academic qualifications/degrees and experience in the relevant field will be considered only.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
- The age will be calculated on the closing date of applications.
- Ex-Govt. officials / Ex-Armed Forces Officers, who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the posts, may be granted age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
- Ex-Govt. officials / Ex-Armed Forces Officers should submit attested copies of their release / retirement order and Last Pay Certificate (LPC) duly verified from the concerned authority along with their application form.
- Serving Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous organizations should submit attested copy of NOC (mandatory) from General HQs / Air HQs / Naval HQs, as applicable, for re-employment on the post.
- Serving Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous organizations should submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective organizations/institutions regarding applicant will be required to tender resignation from regular service.
- Compliance to eligibility criteria for the post does not guarantee shortlisting for interview.
- Late/Incomplete applications and those submitted without attached attested copies of complete academic & experience documents would not be processed further / considered.
- TA/DA will not be admissible for appearing in the interview.

- IST reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment / induction on the post at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.
