Vacancy Announcement: Member, National Tariff Commission (NTC)
Position Overview
The Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, is seeking highly qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for two (02) positions as Member of the National Tariff Commission (NTC). This is a quasi-judicial role in a statutory autonomous body responsible for advising the Federal Government on tariffs, trade measures, and domestic industry competitiveness.

Eligibility Criteria
| Category | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Qualification | Masters or Professional Degree/Qualification in Law, Business, Economics, Accountancy, Tariffs and Trade, Commerce and Trade, or a trade-related subject. |
| Experience | Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional work experience in law, business, economics, accountancy, harmonized tariffs, commerce and trade, or other trade-related technical fields. |
| Citizenship | Must be a citizen of Pakistan. |
Disqualifications & Conditions
Candidates will be ineligible if they:
- Have been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude.
- Are adjudged insolvent.
- Are declared physically or mentally unfit by a Federal Government medical board.
- Fail to disclose a conflict of interest as required by the NTC Act, 2015.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates with specific knowledge or work experience in Trade Remedy Laws.
