Government of Pakistan – Planning Commission Job Opportunities
The Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, is seeking applications for the following contract-based positions under the project “Strengthening of Ministry of PD&R in Monitoring & Evaluation of PSDP Projects.”
Available Positions:
1. Office Assistant (PPS-6)
- Number of Positions: 3 (2 for I&M, 1 for Quetta camp office)
- Age Limit: 50 years
- Qualification: BA / BSc / B.Com
- Experience: 1 year in administrative and procurement matters
- Skills: Preference will be given to computer literate persons
- Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of files/records
- Procurement under the project
- Maintaining stock register/inventory
- Casual typing
- Other responsibilities assigned by DGs/PD
2. Computer Operator (PPS-6)
- Number of Positions: 2
- Age Limit: 45 years
- Qualification: BA/B.Sc./B.Com with diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in customized computer software, typing speed up to 40 words per minute
- Skills: Knowledge of other computer applications preferred
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in scanning/typing, making briefings
- Data entry of all PSDP projects in MIS Software
- Assist Data Processing Supervisor in data entry
- Assist programmer/GIS officer for technical tasks
- Other tasks assigned by senior management
3. LDC (PPS-3)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Age Limit: 45 years
- Qualification: Matriculate with typing speed 30 w.p.m (minimum)
- Experience: 1 year in relevant field
- Skills: Preference will be given to Computer literate persons
- Responsibilities:
- Dairy and Dispatch
- Maintenance of files/records
- Other responsibilities assigned by PD
4. Driver (PPS-2)
- Number of Positions: 5 (4 for I&M, 1 for Quetta Camp Office)
- Age Limit: 50 years
- Qualification: Middle Pass with LTV Driving License
- Skills: Good driving skills, well-versed with traffic rules and regulations, well-acquainted with vehicular maintenance
