The Government of Sindh, Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC), is seeking qualified candidates from Sindh Province to fill positions on a Contract/Contributory Pension Scheme Basis. These positions are located in Karachi, Sindh.
Vacant Positions:
1. Director (Strategic Planning) (BPS-19)
- Vacancies: 1
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
- Qualification: Masters (18 years) in any discipline (1st or 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant professional and research experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in a recognized research organization, think tank, university, or government institution.
2. Deputy Director Strategic Planning (BPS-18)
- Vacancies: 2
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Qualification: Masters (18 years) in any discipline (1st or 2nd Division).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in research/academic/management/HR or supervisory capacity under Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies.
3. Assistant Director Strategic Planning (BPS-17)
- Vacancies: 2
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Qualification: Masters (18 years) in any discipline (1st or 2nd Division).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience under Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies. Must have computer, writing, and office skills.
4. Data Analyst (BPS-17)

- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Qualification: Bachelors (16 years) in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent (1st or 2nd Division).
- Experience: At least 2 years experience in data analysis, visualization, and research support. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, STATA, R, Python, and working with large datasets.
