    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in ship design, new building, shipyard supervision, technical consultancy or construction.
    • Task:
      • Experience in FATS, HATS, Inclining experiments and Sea trials.
      • Ability to prepare technical reports, Deviation Reports, Risk Assessments and milestone recommendations.
      • Working knowledge of class rules, IMO / SOLAS / MARPOL, Flag requirements and Ship Building Standards.
      • Must be available for regular / need based attendance at Shipyard, contractors, or designers or relevant OEMs.
      • Good command of written and spoken English.

      Note:

      • Preference will be given to a candidate having: Experience with commercial vessels, container / feeder vessels. Experience of vessels of approximately 1000 TEU or above. Demonstrable experience in supervision/technical management of at least 1 vessel newbuilding projects.
      • Strong experience in hull structure, block fabrication, Erection, dimensional control, welding / NDT and coatings.
      • Proven experience in review of GA, structural, stability, cargo securing and production drawings.
      • Project based position on contract basis (Initial duration is upto 2 years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The contract may be extended further upon mutual consent of both parties).
