Job Description

Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) is seeking applications for transformation team positions. KWSC is undergoing a transformation program and invites applications from passionate and dedicated IT experts. Competitive, market-based remuneration will be offered. Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) is a public utility corporation under the Government of Sindh. It is responsible for providing potable water supply and managing sewerage disposal services for the residents of Karachi. The corporation aims to ensure the efficient management of water resources and sanitation infrastructure for the metropolitan area.

Manager IT Governance

Qualification: Masters in IT/CS/MIS, Business Administration
Experience: 8-10 Years

Task:

Strategic oversight and control over IT governance.
Ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry’s best practices.
Establishing and maintaining IT governance frameworks aligned with COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, IT strategies, policies and cybersecurity.
Mitigating IT risks by ensuring stringent compliance and control measures, business continuity and disaster recovery strategy, audit management, IT procurement, and performance measurements.
Ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient technology operations.

Note:

Strong communication and senior-level reporting skills.
Vendors/stakeholders management experience is desired.

Manager IT Projects

Qualification: Masters in IT/CS/MIS, PMP/PRINCE2/PMI-ACP/Agile Scrum Master certification, ITIL Foundation
Experience: 8-10 Years

Task:

Leads and oversees the Technology Project Management Office and the PMO team.
Ensuring meticulous planning, execution and delivery of IT projects.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project portfolios, optimizing resources, and ensuring that projects get delivered on time, within scope, and within budget with no compromise on quality and compliance standards.

Note:

Proficiency in PM tools: MS Project / Jira / Primavera.
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Conflict resolution, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Analytical aptitude and delivery mindset.
Experience in IT infrastructure and projects with at least 3 years in leading PMO/Program delivery or handling large scale IT projects.
Hands-on experience with Project management tools is mandatory.

Manager Information Security

Qualification: Bachelor / Graduation, Information Security
Experience: 8-10 Years

Task:

Responsible for protecting the organization’s information assets by implementing and monitoring information security policies and controls.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Managing security incidents, support risk and audit activities, and promote a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization.

Note:

Compliance of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI/DSS).
Experience in implementation and management of SIEM, SOC operations, EDR/XDR, DLP.
Handling the Access Management / Privilege Access Management applications and managing large networks and endpoint security controls.
Identifying the risk assessment plan and vulnerability management.
Certifications preferred ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator CISA, CISM, CISSP.
