Job Description

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a state-owned enterprise under Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan. PMDC is responsible for the exploration, mining and marketing of various minerals. PMDC invites applications for the following post on open contract basis.

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a semi-government organization working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan. Established in 1974, its primary objective is the exploration, development, and commercial exploitation of mineral resources across Pakistan.   1. Marketing/ Export Promotion Officer - Salt Business
    • Qualification: Bachelor / Graduation, Master
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years of Post qualification relevant experience in sales, marketing, export promotion, international business development, preferably in salt, minerals, food products, FMCG, or commodities.
      • Task:
      • Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers, and institutional buyers.
      • Identify and develop new domestic and international markets by leveraging market intelligence, data analytics, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to generate qualified sales leads and identify new business opportunities.
      • Promote PMDC salt products through digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings, and other promotional channels.
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure effective follow-up of inquiries and leads.
      • Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, samples, and other marketing materials in coordination with relevant departments.
      • Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added, and private-label salt products in local and export markets.
      • Assist in export-related activities, including coordination of documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.
      • Support management in preparation and achievement of local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans.
      • Perform any other duties related to sales, marketing, export promotion, and business development assigned by the management.
