Job Description

Applications are invited from eligible Pakistani nationals for appointment against various positions at the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Islamabad, operating under the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training. All appointments will be made on a contract basis, subject to the terms and conditions prescribed and approved by the Competent Authority. Psychologist (PPS-7)

Note: Additional professional training/certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental assessment, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or behavioral intervention will be an advantage. Experience of working with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders in a special education institution, autism center, child development/rehabilitation center, hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting will be preferred.

Aquatic Physiotherapist (PPS-7)

Qualification: Bachelor / Graduation, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Experience: Minimum 02 year of professional experience in physiotherapy.

Note: A postgraduate qualification or recognized training in aquatic physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, pediatric physiotherapy, neurodevelopmental rehabilitation or related practice will be an advantage. The post holder should hold valid professional registration/licensing with the relevant statutory professional body in Pakistan. Practical experience in hydrotherapy or aquatic physiotherapy will be an advantage.

Art Teacher (PPS-7)

Speech & Language Therapist (PPS-7)

Qualification: BS, MPhil/MS in Speech & Language Pathology, Speech Therapy

Note: Experience in autism, developmental communication disorders, complex communication needs and AAC shall be preferred.

Occupational Therapist (PPS-7)

Qualification: BS

Note: Experience with children with autism/developmental disabilities, sensory regulation and functional skills shall be preferred. Training in sensory integration, developmental disabilities or pediatric occupational therapy shall be an advantage.

Experience: Minimum 02 year relevant post-qualification experience in special education, preferably involving children with autism/developmental disabilities.

Note: Experience in IEP development, classroom management, differentiated instruction and multidisciplinary working is essential. Supervisory/leadership experience shall be preferred.
