Job Description

- During the online registration process, all required information must be entered correctly with due diligence. A mobile number ported from the original mobile company must not be provided.
- Applications received by hand or through courier/email shall not be accepted/entertained.
- Candidates should make sure before appearing in the examination/test that they are eligible in all respects for the post applied for.

- A fee of Rs. 1,200/- shall be paid through the 1Link/1Bill Invoice Payment Service using the generated consumer number. After depositing the fee through 1Link/1Bill Invoice, candidates shall click on 'Verify Online Payment' on the ETC Dashboard. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Email/SMS will be sent to registered applicants for examination date, time and venue. Candidates are required to provide a valid email/mobile number while filling in their online application forms. SMS shall not be sent to mobile numbers converted/ported from one network to another.
- Candidates must get queries/complaints resolved before closure of the web registration portal. Queries/complaints handling beyond the registration deadline may not be entertained by the system due to logistics/security reasons.
- Recruitment shall be made purely on merit.
- Candidates shall apply ONLINE ONLY through the ETC/HEC online application portal (www.etc.hec.gov.pk). No hard-copy application shall be accepted unless specifically required by ETC/HEC.
- Only shortlisted eligible candidates shall be called for test and/or interview, as applicable. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/interview.
- The cutoff date for determining eligibility of candidates in terms of age, qualification and experience shall be the closing date for receiving applications. Only post-qualification experience relevant to the advertised post shall be considered.
- Serving Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Body employees shall apply through proper channel and shall produce NOC at the time prescribed by the recruiting authority.
- All appointments against the advertised positions of the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder shall be made on contract basis, subject to the terms and conditions prescribed/approved by the Competent Authority.
- The selected candidates shall be liable to serve at the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Islamabad, or any associated facility/unit established under the Centre, according to organizational requirements.

Note: The candidate should have demonstrated experience in strategic planning, institutional governance, human resource management, financial and administrative management, programme/project management, stakeholder coordination and implementation of institutional policies. A PhD or higher professional qualification, and/or recognized training in autism, disability inclusion, special education, institutional governance, public sector management or health/rehabilitation management will be an added advantage.
Note: Additional professional training/certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental assessment, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or behavioral intervention will be an advantage. Experience of working with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders in a special education institution, autism center, child development/rehabilitation center, hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting will be preferred.
Note: A postgraduate qualification or recognized training in aquatic physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, pediatric physiotherapy, neurodevelopmental rehabilitation or related practice will be an advantage. The post holder should hold valid professional registration/licensing with the relevant statutory professional body in Pakistan. Practical experience in hydrotherapy or aquatic physiotherapy will be an advantage.
Note: Certification or training in Art Therapy, autism-responsive arts education, sensory-based creative practice or inclusive arts education will be an advantage. Experience of working with autistic pupils, individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders or other special educational needs will be preferred. Experience in adapted, sensory-based or inclusive art activities will be an advantage.
Note: A higher qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food & Nutrition, or a related discipline will be an advantage. Training/certification in food safety and hygiene is essential. Experience in teaching or training students with autism, intellectual/developmental disorders or other special educational needs will be preferred. Experience in vocational training, supported employment, or skills-based instruction will be an advantage.
Note: Experience working with children with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special educational needs will be preferred. Training in adapted physical education, inclusive sports or disability sports will be an advantage.
Note: Experience working with children with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special educational needs will be preferred. Experience in therapeutic, educational or vocational horticulture will be an advantage.
Note: The post holder must hold a current recognized Lifeguard / Pool Lifeguard certification from an appropriately recognized training provider. Valid certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is essential. Experience in a hydrotherapy pool, pediatric pool, rehabilitation facility or special education setting will be preferred. Experience working with children with disabilities or additional support needs will be an advantage.
Note: A qualification or training in autism, disability inclusion, special education, community engagement or supported employment will be an advantage. Experience of working with children/persons with disabilities, autism or other developmental needs will be an advantage. Experience in donor/stakeholder coordination, exhibition management or public-facing institutional program will be preferred.
Note: Experience working in a structured cafΓ©, restaurant, institutional kitchen or hospitality setting will be preferred. Experience of working with persons with disabilities, autism or other developmental needs will be an advantage.
Note: A qualification in Library and Information Science would be preferred. Experience working with children with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special educational needs will be preferred. Experience in accessible learning resources, assistive technology or adapted educational materials will be an advantage.
Note: Training or certification in adapted physical activity, disability sport, inclusive sports coaching or relevant sports disciplines will be an advantage. A valid First Aid certification is an essential requirement. Experience working with autistic pupils, individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders will be preferred.
Note: Formal training or certification in autism/developmental disabilities, supported employment, job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, transition planning, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or person-centered employment support is required or should be completed during the probationary period. Direct experience with autistic individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders will be preferred. Experience in cafe/hospitality, retail, workshops, product development, community-based employment or employer liaison will be an advantage.
Note: Experience working with children with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special educational needs will be preferred. Experience in adapted, therapeutic or inclusive music activities will be an advantage.
Note: Formal training/certification in child safeguarding and protection is mandatory. Valid First Aid certification is mandatory. Confirmation in post shall be subject to successful completion of both the required safeguarding and First Aid certifications. Experience working with children with disabilities and/or developmental disorders will be preferred.
Note: Experience in autism, developmental communication disorders, complex communication needs and AAC shall be preferred.
