NADRA is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the following positions:
1. Deputy Director (Application Security Specialist)
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily review of security analysis tools and firewalls to detect potential threats and anomalies.
- Process and audit user access requests, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege and maintaining accurate records of user entitlements.
- Execute routine, predefined containment steps for common incidents, such as isolating affected endpoints or resetting compromised accounts.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, actions taken, and resolutions for post-mortem analysis.
- Assist in auditing internal systems against established security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Help update and maintain security policy documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
- Stay current on best practices and technological advancements and act as a technical resource for security assessment and compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid understanding of different security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Deep knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including understanding of threat landscapes, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Skilled in risk assessment methodologies, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
- Experienced in developing IS policies, SOPs, and instructions.
- Capable of conducting ISO-aligned audits and preparing comprehensive audit reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for communicating security and compliance information to relevant stakeholders.
2. Assistant Director (.NET Developer – Device Integration)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET Core (6 or higher) and .NET Framework with strong command over C#.
- Design and implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Work with front-end frameworks and libraries such as JavaScript, jQuery, and ideally React to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Build, integrate, and secure ASP.NET MVC and RESTful Web APIs with proper authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
- Integrate Windows-based applications with external devices, particularly biometric systems.
- Manage relational databases including MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficiency and reliability in data handling.
- Apply software architectural patterns such as Microservices, Clean Architecture, and Layered Architecture for scalable and maintainable system design.
- Use Git for version control, including branching, merging, and handling pull requests in collaborative development environments.
- Deliver stable and optimized applications through proper coding practices, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, following structured development lifecycles, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Assistant Director (.NET Developer)
Key Responsibilities:

4. Deputy Assistant Director (Research & Development)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and rigorously test novel biometric algorithms (e.g., matching, template generation, liveness detection) using advanced techniques in computer vision, signal processing, and machine learning/deep learning.
- Optimize existing algorithms for speed, accuracy, and resource efficiency on target platforms (e.g., embedded systems, mobile devices, cloud).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of core biometric principles, including image/signal acquisition, feature extraction, template matching, and anti-spoofing/liveness detection techniques for at least one modality.
- Expert proficiency in Python (for R&D, data analysis, and machine learning) and C/C++ (for high-performance, embedded, or production code implementation).
- Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and relevant techniques (e.g., CNNs, RNNs) applied to biometric data (image, video, or signal).
- Proficient with scientific computing tools (e.g., MATLAB, NumPy, Pandas) and statistical methods for analyzing, benchmarking, and visualizing large-scale biometric performance data.
- Demonstrated ability to turn research concepts or algorithms into deployed product features.
General Requirements:
- Minimum 16 Years of HEC verified education is a must. Degrees must be attested by HEC.
