PARC Project Recruitment for Cherry Value Chain Development in GB
The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), the apex agricultural research organization in Pakistan, is seeking qualified and motivated Pakistani nationals for appointment on a contract basis for an EDF-funded project titled “Development of Export Oriented Cherry Value Chain in Gilgit Baltistan.” These positions are exclusively for candidates holding a valid Gilgit-Baltistan domicile.

Detailed Position Information
Project Manager
- Qualification: M.Sc (Hons) Horticulture.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in research and development of deciduous fruit plants, with proven expertise in leading projects, preferably as a Principal Investigator/Project Incharge for a cherry project.
- Skill Level: Expert.
- Remuneration: A lump sum of Rs. 200,000 per month with a 10% annual increment.
Scientific Officer (Horticulture)
- Qualification: M.Sc (Hons) / M.Phil or equivalent (18 years education) in a relevant field with first division or CGPA 3.0 or higher. No more than one second division or Grade C in the academic career is allowed.
- Skills: Good written and oral communication and analytical skills.
- Preference: Candidates with relevant experience.
- Skill Level: Experienced Professional.
- Scale: PPS-07.
Naib Qasid Attendant
- Qualification: Matriculation.
- Skill Level: Beginner.
- Scale: PPS-01.

- Age Relaxation: Admissible as per PARC/Government rules.

- Council’s Rights: PARC reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
