Punjab Masstransit Authority is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
1. Director Procurement & Contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the contractual aspects of PC-I preparation, including defining procurement strategies, drafting project narrative, and outlining implementation arrangements.
- Ensures alignment with government procurement rules/ FIDIC standards/ PEC standards, and financial procedures.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with specialization or certification in Contract Management
OR - MBA/ M.Com/ Master in Economics
- 10 years of overall experience in procurement process and contract management (Experience in public sector infrastructure projects shall be preferred)
2. Project Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise overall project execution, manages teams, coordinates with stakeholders, and ensures project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation
- 20 years of overall experience including senior position role in execution of at least one mass transit mega project having worth exceeding PKR 25 billion. Experience in development of mass transit project shall be preferred
3. Chief Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervise the planning and design of transit corridors, including route geometry, intersection configuration, and station access points.
- Ensures all layouts support efficient traffic movement, operational functionality, and adherence to applicable engineering and safety standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Sc in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- 15 years of overall experience including senior position role in execution of at least one mass transit mega project having worth exceeding PKR 25 billion. Experience in development of mass transit project shall be preferred
4. Director (Admin & Finance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the administrative, financial, and procurement functions of the Project Management Unit, with responsibility for budget planning, financial reporting, compliance with public sector financial rules, and coordination of procurement processes.
- Provides guidance on institutional arrangements, human resource policies, and administrative controls to support transparent and accountable project execution.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors (Honors) in Business Administration / Finance/ Accounting / commerce or equivalent.
- 10 years of overall experience in Administration and Finance (Experience in public sector infrastructure projects shall be preferred)
