How to Apply
- Applicants are required to apply online through the university job portal http://portals.uhs.edu.pk/jobs. The applicants are also required to submit a signed hardcopy/printout of the same pre-filled online application form to the Office of Deputy Registrar (HR), Room # 12, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore. Fill the online application form carefully as no editing will be allowed after submission.
- The applicants are required to print the system-generated fee challan and deposit the job application processing fee as mentioned on the challan through 1Link or in any branch of Bank of Punjab.
- The applicants are required to attach and submit attested copies of CNIC, domicile, all educational documents/certificates, experience certificates, and any other relevant documents along with the deposited system-generated fee challan as per the following approved rates on or before the closing date:
- BPS-17 & Above = Rs. 2000/-
- Applications submitted without the deposited system-generated fee challan will not be entertained. The deposited amount is non-refundable/non-transferable.
- Closing date for submission of online applications is 2026-02-23 within office hours. Printed online application form along with all attached documents must be submitted in person or via courier. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
Important
- Only Punjab-domiciled candidates can apply.
- The applicants are required to submit PM&DC Experience Recognition Certificates corroborating with the positions they are applying for. In case the recognition certificate is in process, then the evidence of submission will be required.
- The applicants in possession of Experience Certificates issued by University of Health Sciences or any other approved institution are required to get their certificates verified from PM&DC. In case the verification of recognition certificate is in process, then the evidence of submission will be required.
- University shall determine the relevancy of Research Publication to the specialty of applicants.
- University may conduct a subject test in case the ratio of the post to the eligible applicants is more than 1:5.
- Those having foreign qualifications are required to submit equivalence certificates issued by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
- Appointments will be on a contract basis as per UHS Service Statutes 2005.
- Preference will be given to those having experience in a reputable Public Sector Medical University/Institution.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per statutes/rules of Government of Punjab.
- The selected candidates can be posted at any campus of the University (City & Jinnah Campus KSK).
- Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
- University reserves the rights to increase/decrease or totally withdraw the vacancies without assigning any reason.
- Applicants working in Public Sector Organization/Department must apply through the proper channel.
