Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) Job Details
The Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), working under the Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, is building a high-performance Project Management Team and is inviting applications for multiple professional roles on a one-year contractual basis (extendable annually based on performance and project milestones).
Job Positions:

| 1 | Marketing Manager / Executive | Bachelor’s / Master’s in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline, with 5–8 years of experience in event marketing, exhibitions, or space sales. Prior experience with defence exhibitions or export promotion initiatives will be preferred. |
| 2 | IT Specialist (Digital Systems & AI / Website Management) | Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, and/or a relevant discipline, with 5–8 years of experience in IT systems development, event / hospitality software, or digital transformation. Knowledge of AI-based analytics or automation tools will be considered an advantage. |
| 3 | Legal Specialist (Contract Management) | LLB (mandatory). LLM or specialization in Commercial, Corporate, or PPP Law preferred. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or PPP / infrastructure projects. Strong command of contractual risk management and compliance is essential. |
| 4 | Financial Specialist (Mega Project Management) | CA, CFA, ICMA, ACCA, or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline, with 7–10 years of experience in financial modelling, PPP transaction structuring, or project finance. Expertise in funding structures and financial risk assessment for large-scale programmes is expected. |
| 5 | Technical Construction Specialist (Planning & Execution) | Bachelor’s / Master’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and/or a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in planning, design review, or execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. Knowledge of construction oversight, quality control, and compliance with national standards is important. |
| 6 | Trade Specialist | Bachelor’s / Master’s in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or International Trade with a minimum of 5–8 years of experience in international trade issues, import and export processes, customs clearance, shipping, and logistics. Strong familiarity with export control and customs documentation will be valued. |
General Terms:
- Age Limit: Maximum age for all positions is 50 years.
- Educational Attestation: All educational certifications must be verifiable and subject to certification from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) if required.
- Compensation: Market-based, negotiable salary packages will be offered according to the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
- Nature of Employment: Project-based contractual roles, hired for one year initially. Contract may be extended annually based on performance and project milestones. This engagement does not establish permanent employment rights within DEPO, the Ministry of Defence Production, or any other public sector entity.
- Screening Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. The organization may also conduct online assessments and interviews via Zoom.
- Travel / Daily Allowance: No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews or assessments.
