Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.
The Company is seeking applications for the following positions from the eligible persons, who can perform the tasks assigned to the Company.
Contract Period: The first 03 months shall be on probation and thereafter shall be continued as per company policy.

Section I: Manager (DISCO)
Maximum Age: 52 years (as of closing date of advertisement)
Salary Package: Market-based, competitive remuneration package (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA):
- CA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA or member of professional body of Chartered Accountants
- MSc degree in Electrical/Electronics/Physics with MBA from HEC recognized or affiliated reputable University
- Experience: The candidate must have 20 years of relevant experience in Power Sector
Remuneration & Age:
- The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience
- The maximum age limit is 52 years as of the closing date of the advertisement

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive analytical reports on line losses, recovery and receivables
- Provide actionable insights to support revenue, electricity theft control, and assessment of associated financial impacts
- Set, monitor, and evaluate loss-reduction targets for Distribution Companies (DISCOs)
- Track performance against benchmarks, and recommend timely corrective and remedial measures
- Contribute to the development and periodic updating of DISCOs’ strategic roadmaps, ensuring alignment with national energy sector policies, reform agendas, and operational best practices
- Oversee the preparation of monthly and periodic analytical reports covering key performance indicators, KPIs of DISCOs, highlighting trends, and improvement areas
- Monitor load management and demand-side practices, assessing their operational efficiency and financial implications for DISCOs
- Lead the development and updating of an integrated Power Sector Dashboard
- Present critical KPIs of monitoring of consumer services and performance summaries to support informed executive-level decision-making
- Coordinate the evaluation of DISCOs performance using standardized monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Including the preparation of scorecards, comparative analyses, and performance insights
- Actively involved in coordination for the development of KPI-based dashboards for DISCO performance monitoring for decision-making
- Liaise and coordinate with regulatory bodies, policy makers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure consistency, regulatory compliance, and effective support for sectoral reforms
- Provide periodic analytical inputs, briefing notes, and summary reports for senior management
- Coordination of Parliamentary affairs and high-level decision-makers
- Coordinate and facilitate inter-agency review meetings, including mid-year performance reviews
- Conduct year-end monitoring and evaluation (M&E) workshop
Section II: Section Head (Human Resource)

Salary Package: Market-based, competitive remuneration package (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA):
- Bachelor / Master degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related fields from HEC recognized / affiliated reputable / University
- HR Certification (SHRM/CIPD preferred)
- Experience: The candidate must have 10 years of relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization
Remuneration & Age:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention within a metric-driven organization
- Ensure strict adherence to governance compliance
- Implement, interpret, and administer Board-approved HR policies, Service Regulations, and SOPs
- Translate regulatory and governance requirements into executable HR processes
- Design, execute, and govern performance management systems with quantifiable KPIs, scorecards, and weightages
- Ensure strategic alignment of human capital initiatives with organizational strategy
- Manage learning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives linked to performance outcomes
- Support succession planning and future skills requirements
- Handle complex employee relations, disciplinary proceedings, and misconduct cases
- Including inquiry committees, charge sheets, and penalties
- Strictly in accordance with service rules and due process
- Ensure end-to-end, hands-on operation of enterprise HR systems (Oracle HCM / Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS or equivalent)
- For full employee lifecycle management, HR analytics, payroll interfaces, and statutory MIS
- Develop advanced HR dashboards, analytics, and management reports for senior leadership, Board Committees, regulators, and internal-external auditors
- Apply Mercer / Hay job evaluation frameworks for role sizing, grading, pay structures, and internal equity
- Including job documentation, benchmarking, and market pricing
- Lead compensation structuring, salary rationalization, and benefits governance based on evaluated roles, affordability, and performance differentiation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, SOE Act provisions, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Conduct periodic HR audits and drive closure of audit observations
- Support large-scale organizational change, restructuring, rightsizing, and reform initiatives
- Including stakeholder management, communication planning, and transition risk mitigation
- Oversee administrative and facility management functions, contracts, and service providers to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and service continuity
Section III: Assistant Specialist (Admin)
Maximum Age: 35 years (as of closing date of advertisement)
Salary Package: Market-based, competitive remuneration package (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA):
- 16 years of education with Master’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration or Management Sciences or related fields from HEC recognized / affiliated reputable / university
- Possesses Good Interpersonal, Negotiation, Multitasking, Time Management and Problem-Solving skills to handle multiple administrative and professional assignments
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office software
- Experience: The candidate must have 05 years of relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization
Remuneration & Age:
- The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience
- The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the closing date of the advertisement

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day general administration and office support functions
- Prepare office notes, drafts, summaries, working papers, and notifications
- Assist in procurement of office equipment, supplies, and services as per organizational procedures
- Facilitate compensation and benefits activities by liaising with HR and relevant departments
- Assist in preparing and running monthly payroll on the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and proper coordination
- Coordinate invoices, bills, invoices, and timely submission / coordination with Finance Section
- To manage the Employee Medical Insurance and Group Life Insurance
- Establish Liaison with external firms to manage the services availed from other firms / vendors
- Coordinate boarding, lodging, and all travel-related arrangements for official assignments
- Oversee transport management, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, and driver supervision
- Support facility management, including upkeep, maintenance activities, and coordination with service providers
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderly upkeep of office premises and manage office attendance (events / functions
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and filing of administrative matters
- Handle any other administrative tasks assigned from time to time

Essential Qualities:
The candidates are required to exercise sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis, outstanding communication, minute writing, analytical & problem-solving skills are pre-requisite. Ideal candidate should have ability to prioritize work well under pressure. The candidate must be IT Savvy. Integrity and maturity should be an essential attribute when handling confidential company information.

- Appointments are on contract basis with performance-based annual renewal
