Shuhada-e-Army Public School University of Technology Nowshera invites applications from eligible male/female candidates of KP to fill the following positions on regular and contract basis:

Available Positions

On Regular/Permanent Basis

The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.
2.Associate Professor (BPS-20) Department of Electrical Engineering Technology01PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
OR
5-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in the HEC recognized Journals.
3.Assistant Professors (BPS-19) Departments of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Information Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology01 for each departmentPhD in relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution.
4.Lecturers (BPS-18) Departments of Energy Engineering, Information Engineering Technology2 for each departmentFirst Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
5.Lecturer (BPS-18) Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology01First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

On Contract Basis (for a maximum period of three years)

Preference shall be given to the candidates having experience of working in medical/health research settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills (Candidates having educational background in applied sciences are encouraged to apply).

Terms and Conditions of Application

  1. Eligible candidates should submit their filled and signed application form available on the University’s website (www.uotnowshera.edu.pk/careers) along with attested copies of educational testimonials, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, one recent photograph, and original bank deposit slip by February 02, 2026.
  2. Age, Qualification, experience etc. (supported with documentary proofs) will be considered till the last date of form submission.
  3. Incomplete application forms or those received after the due date will be rejected without intimation to the applicant.
  4. Age limit for teaching position is 21 to 55 years and age limit for Administrative position is 18 to 45.
  5. Regular appointment will be made in CP Fund basis.
  6. For administrative positions, 3.00 out of 4.00 CGPA will be considered as first division.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for test/demo/interview.
  8. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel and provide NOC from their current employer.
  9. Age relaxation will be given as per government rules on case to case basis.
  10. In case of any false information or document provided by the applicant is found incorrect/fake at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
  11. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions, or to cancel/not fill any or all the positions, or to re-advertise these positions at any stage without assigning any reason.
  12. Application processing fees (nonrefundable) of Rs. 7000 (BPS-20 and 21), Rs. 5000 (BPS-18 and 19) and Rs. 3000 (BPS-17) must be submitted in University’s bank account mentioned below. The original receipt must be sent along with the application form.
  13. Candidates applying for more than one position should submit separate application along with original bank receipt for each position.
  14. Errors in the advertisement, if any, are liable for rectification by the University.
