The Government of Sindh, Home Department invites applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for appointment against the following positions (15 posts) under the Karachi Secretariat on contract basis for a period of 02 years. Minimum Qualifications:
- Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate)
Experience Required:
- Proficiency and experience in store keeping and diary maintenance
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Experience in record maintenance and stock verification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in government or semi-government organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing store operations and inventory
- Maintaining accurate stock records and registers
- Issuing materials and supplies as per requisitions
- Conducting regular stock verification
- Ensuring proper storage and preservation of materials
- Preparing periodic inventory reports
Position 2: Office Boy

Minimum Qualifications:
- Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate)
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in office support services preferred
- Familiarity with office procedures and protocols
- Basic understanding of office equipment handling
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general office support services
- Delivering documents and files within and outside the office
- Maintaining cleanliness of office premises
- Assisting in photocopying and scanning documents
- Serving tea/refreshments to officers and guests
- Operating photocopier and other basic office equipment
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
Position 3: Driver

Minimum Qualifications:
- Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate)
Experience Required:
- Valid driving license for LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) and heavy vehicles
- Thorough knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
- Experience in driving government vehicles
- Ability to perform during emergency situations
- Good knowledge of local routes and areas
- Minimum 3-5 years of driving experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving official vehicles safely and responsibly
- Ensuring regular maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Maintaining vehicle log book and fuel consumption records
- Reporting any mechanical issues or defects immediately
- Following all traffic rules and regulations
- Ensuring timely transportation of officers to destinations

- Overall management and supervision of mess operations

Position 8: Sanitary Worker

Minimum Qualifications:
- Below Matriculation (Primary education acceptable)
Experience Required:
- Experience in sanitation and cleaning work
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and materials
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Previous experience in similar role preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness of office premises, washrooms and common areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, bathrooms and washrooms
- Collecting and disposing of waste materials properly
- Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning agents safely
- Ensuring proper hygiene standards are maintained
- Cleaning corridors, staircases and outdoor areas
- Reporting any maintenance or repair requirements
- Performing other sanitation duties as assigned

- This is an internal recruitment process for eligible candidates
- Appointments will be made on contract basis for 2 years
- Only Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply
- Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice

- Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview along with attested copies
- No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be admissible for test/interview

- In-service candidates must obtain NOC/DPC from their concerned department and provide it at the time of interview
- Contract may be extended annually based on performance
- Age relaxation may be applicable as per government rules
