VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Forest & Wildlife Department, Government of Punjab invites applications from dynamic and qualified Pakistani nationals for appointments against the following positions under FAO/GEF Funded project titled “Combating Land Degradation through Integrated and Sustainable Range and Livestock Management to Promote Resilient Livelihoods in Northern Punjab” on contract basis for the project period i.e. upto July 2029:

Position 1: National Project Coordinator (NPC)
Qualifications
- M.SC/ BS in Forestry or Forestry and Range Management from HEC recognized university
Experience
- Minimum 10 years post-qualification relevant professional experience in the field of Forestry, Range Management and Projects planning and implementation
- Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Excellent understanding of budgeting and financial management of Government and donor agencies including UN agencies
- Holding Master Degree from foreign university
Key Responsibilities
- Overall project coordination and management
- Forestry and Range Management oversight
- Project planning and implementation
- Budget and financial management
- Coordination with Government and donor agencies including UN agencies
Maximum Age
- Maximum age limit shall be 64 years
Position 2: Admin & Finance Assistant
Qualifications
- MBA degree in Finance from HEC recognized university
Experience
- Minimum 05 years post-qualification relevant professional experience
- Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Excellent understanding of budgeting and financial management of Government and donor agencies including UN agencies
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative support for project operations
- Financial management and budgeting
- Coordination with Government and donor agencies including UN agencies
- Financial reporting and documentation
Maximum Age
- Maximum age limit shall be 64 years

- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
- The Department is authorized for shortlisting the candidates according to their eligibility, experience and additional qualification. The Decision by the Selection Committee will be final.
- The Competent Authority may cancel the recruitment at any time without any prior notice.
- The date of interview/test will be informed on the given email/contact number to the shortlisted candidates only.
- The selected candidates will not establish any claim for the permanent appointment against these posts.
- In-service candidates will ensure while applying for a particular post(s) that they have obtained/applied for NOC/DPC from their concerned department(s) and will provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
- The contract will be for the project period. However, based on performance annual extension will be granted.
